Graduations are heading our way fast! Most schools will be ending in May, so the banners need to go up in late April or early May. Have you made preparations for your graduate? You must plan for dinners, parties and graduation trips. Have you added the banner to your list?
A banner is a great way to say to everyone else how proud you are of your graduate. It also tells your child how proud you are by letting him/her know you want to shout to the world what a great kid you have. Whether you put the banner in your yard, on the fence or hanging from the gutters everyone will know this is your child you are honoring.
If you are a chairperson of a Homeowners Association, now would be a good time to send out notices to all the homeowners for a list of the graduates in the subdivision or development in order to produce a banner honoring them. This is also a good investment since many times the homeowner resents paying HOA fees since they do not see a direct benefit from the charge. However, when they see their child’s name on the banner, they will know the HOA is thinking of them and paying tribute not just to the student but to the parents for their sacrifices as well. When the parent sees the banner, the only name they will see will be their student, and they will see the neighborhood in a whole new light.
