Are you looking to wrap a vehicle to advertise your business? You considered the advantages and decided this would be the best way to get your business recognized. Then the cold reality hits you when you get the estimate for the job. Although they are less expensive than billboards to get 24/7 advertising, they can be somewhat expensive.

There are many things to consider when getting a vehicle wrap. Wraps are priced by amount of material used. So the less the area, the less the price. You can create a reduced area by using a partial wrap. One effective way to do this is to use a vehicle that is colored according to the scheme of your logo (buy a vehicle that is one of your corporate colors already). This allows you to create your look that incorporates the vehicle color with the wrap, using less area of material.

Another way to reduce cost may be to get an older vehicle to wrap. In today’s auto market there are many older vehicles that are not that attractive, yet run great. A young man in our company recently purchased a Honda with over 200,000 miles on the engine. The vehicle still runs great. He got it for peanuts. Or you can buy a vehicle to sit after it is wrapped like a billboard. After applying a wrap, any vehicle can be made to look new or better. Although a wrap is more expensive than painting, you get your message out in many colors and designs. Square/boxy or unusual vehicles make the most noticeable wraps.

This brings us to the cost of quality. Even though you may look to reduce the cost of your wrap, one thing you do not want to do is sacrifice quality. Wraps come in varied quality of vinyl and can last from 2 years to 5 years. Also the installation needs to be by someone with the proper experience to do the job right. And very important is the DESIGN. You do not want a bad design advertising your business.

Which gets seen more, the shirt or the car?
