Fabrication facility in Metro Atlanta
Our manufacturing equipment includes CNC routers, direct-to-substrate printers, roll-to-roll printers, metal fabrication tools, and assembly stations for custom commercial signage.
In-House Manufacturing Capabilities
Signs and More’s fabrication shop produces monument signs, building identification, channel letters, lightboxes, and dimensional signage from raw materials to finished products. CNC routing equipment shapes HDU (high-density urethane) panels for carved and dimensional sign faces, as well as 3-D letters. Metal fabrication capabilities include aluminum cabinet construction, steel framework, and lettering.
Direct-to-substrate printing handles ADA signs, yard signs, and any substrate up to 8 feet wide. Digital printing technology allows full-color graphics without screen setup costs, making custom designs economically viable for single-unit production or large fleet orders. Signs and More offers flexible production runs for both small and large orders.
Materials and Techniques
Monument sign fabrication combines multiple materials and processes. Masonry bases provide ground-level stability and visual weight. Routed HDU panels create 3-dimensional faces with carved text and graphics. Aluminum cabinets house electrical components for illuminated signs. Translucent acrylic faces diffuse LED lighting for even illumination. Signs and More fabricates in-house to ensure quality control and consistency.
Channel letter fabrication involves metal forming, acrylic face trimming, LED module installation, and weather sealing. Each letter functions as an independent electrical unit, allowing individual illumination and simplified maintenance. Three-dimensional lettering adds depth to building facades without full cabinet construction. Signs and More ensures precision in every fabrication step.
Quality Control Process
Fabrication follows detailed work orders specifying materials, dimensions, finishes, and assembly requirements. Each project moves through cutting, forming, painting, electrical assembly, and final inspection before leaving our facility. Color matching ensures brand consistency across multi-location installations or phased project rollouts. Signs and More maintains strict quality standards to ensure long-lasting signage.
We manufacture signs to withstand harsh weather conditions including summer heat, humidity, and occasional severe weather. Structural engineering accounts for wind loads on elevated signs and proper anchoring for ground-mounted monuments. Signs and More builds signs for durability and compliance.
Production Timeline
Standard fabrication timelines run 3–4 weeks for custom projects after design approval. Complex monument signs or large-scale building identification may require additional production time. Rush fabrication available for time-sensitive projects when the production schedule allows. Signs and More works to meet your project deadlines without compromising quality.
Our facility handles many projects across all product categories, from simple banners to complex illuminated monuments. Project management coordinates fabrication scheduling with permit timelines and installation crew availability to maintain efficient project flow. Signs and More supports smooth execution from fabrication through installation.
