Magnetic Sign Care

Your sign is made from the finest "state of the art" magnetic material available to bring you the best in magnetic mobile advertising. As with anything kept outside, it will weather over time, but proper care can lengthen its life.

Caution: Do not apply a magnetic sign to a newly painted vehicle. Allow at least 90 days for fresh paint to cure. Do not place magnetic over chrome trim or surface protrusions of any kind.

  1. Wash and wipe your vehicle clean and dry.
  2. Touch the magnetic sign to the vehicle. If it isn’t exactly where you want it, remove it and replace it - don’t slide it.

Removing the Sign

When removing the magnetic sign, lift it off from the center of two opposite sides. Never start at the corners. This avoids bending and reduced adhesion.

Remove the magnetic signs from your vehicle at least once a week and wipe both the vehicle and front and back of the signs clean and dry. To clean the face of the magnetic signs, use a sponge and mild detergent.

Do not immerse magnetic signs in water. Never steam clean magnetic signs or take them through a car wash.

Magnetic signs should be stored either flat or gently (not tightly) rolled up. The best way to store your magnetic signs when not on your vehicle is to keep them rolled up (with the magnetic side in and the printed side out) in a standard mailing tube.

Do not store magnetic signs unrolled inside a hot vehicle. The inside of your car can reach temperartures too high for your magnetics. Heat can cause distortion and destroy your signs. Temperature is not a concern when the magnetics are attached to the vehicle.

Do not fold, crease or bend your signs.

Always apply your magnetic signs to a flat surface.
