Value of the Wrap Provider - Signs & More, Inc

Last week we got a call from a United States Navy Recruitment Center.  They had a 20 foot trailer wrapped to use as a promotional trailer for their recruitment efforts.  The Navy called us in to take a look at the wrap they had commissioned.  Another sign company had done the wrap for them.  The Navy was very dissatisfied with the look of the finished product.

They called the sign company and asked for the whole job to be redone.  The attitude of the sign company was that the Navy should be satisfied with the job.  The sign company did not want to redo the job for them.  With persuasion from the Navy, the contracted sign company agreed to strip the trailer and refund the Navy their money.  The Navy ended up stripping the trailer themselves.

Here are a few of the errors made.  The graphics were of a jet plane’s cockpit.  The graphics of the jet on the trailer ended up being a computer generated graphic and not a real cockpit or pilot.  They were told the labor was farmed out to a community college for installation.  The nose of the trailer had the nose of a jet on it with the wings following - the wings were not level with each other.   The area that should have been sky appeared to be different shades of blue that looked like left over sheets of blue vinyl the sign company may have had on hand.

Many of the warning lights and side lights had been broken and not replaced.  All of the rivets were left bubbled out instead of a nice form around the rivet.  In other words, IT WAS A DISASTER!

Signs & More, Inc. (770-383-8808) took a look at the project.  After some measurements and photos, we took the work to our design department and worked with the Navy to produce a very enticing trailer using only the best materials and installation practices.  We came in under their budget and added new warning lights, side lights and a new roof vent.   The United States Navy produces and consists of some of the finest men in America.  The least we can do is to provide them our finest effort.Navy Trailer Wrap Front Side  Navy Trailer Wrap Side Back
