Are you just starting your business?  You have just gotten your business license but you know it will be another two or three weeks before you can open your doors.  It is not too early to start informing the public who you are and where. 

Sitting here looking at all the snow covering the greater Atlanta area and outlying cities, I got to thinking of how a company can use the occasion to promote its services and products. Atlanta, like many other areas in the south, comes to a standstill when a little snow hits the ground.  This is understandable since we get so little snow so few times. Atlanta does not store a great number of snow plows and does not have the capacity to spread gravel and rock salt as cities in colder climates such as Boston or Minneapolis. So we get stuck at home (hopefully) and wait it out.  This is where a banner promoting an event may come into play.

Paulding County has recently updated their sign ordinance, which took effect May 25 this year. One of the ordinance rules says you may place a banner as a temporary sign for thirty days, twice a year. This is true in most jurisdictions. Now may be the time you need to examine your banner to see if you need to consider a permanent sign for your business.

Have an event for which you need advertising? You want to expose the public to your business but do not have a sign yet? Have a new product, sale or hours that you want to announce? You want to be able to move your advertising from place to place? You need a BANNER.  A banner is an inexpensive way to place a sign temporarily. It is also very mobile and can be stored very easily.
